New Cancellation Policy in Place to Address Fears Over Ebola

1. Victoria Falls Safari Lodge
2. Victoria Falls Safari Club
3. Victoria Falls Safari Suites
4. Lokuthula Lodges

Africa Albida Tourism owners of the properties above are offering NO CANCELLATION PENALTY if travel is cancelled as a result of a confirmed case of Ebola by the World Health Organization, in either Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe or Zambia.

AAT recognizes that consumer confidence in traveling to Southern Africa has been shaken as a result of the outbreak of Ebola in West Africa. There is no need for me to articulate all the reasons as to why there is no logical basis for this concern. The fact that Europe is closer to West Africa than both Victoria Falls and Cape Town is well documented.

However, the reality is that there is a huge decrease in travel bookings to Southern Africa. There are also still many travellers who understand the facts and wish to travel, however, they have financial concerns regarding their deposit and final payment should they wish to cancel in the event of a confirmed case of Ebola in the country to which they are planning to visit. Thus, AAT wishes to support the guests proposing travel to Southern Africa with a new cancellation policy.

AAT wishes to announce that any booking made at any of its properties, as highlighted above, from October 24, 2014 will be free of any cancellation penalty should the traveler elect to cancel their trip as a result of a confirmed case of Ebola by the World Health Organization, in either Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe or Zambia. The itinerary of the cancelling guest must have included the country in which the World Health Organization has confirmed such case of Ebola. Cancellations for any other reason will be subject to the standard AAT cancellation policy.

We trust you will agree this policy is straight forward and clear.
